John Winter is an award-winning producer and executive producer with 17 years of experience producing commercials, music videos, web and branded content, and narrative and documentary projects for multiple prominent production companies, including RSA, Little Minx, Black Dog, Anonymous Content, HSI, and many others, as well as his own company, Loud Whisper.

John also produced the feature length concert documentary Ben Harper and the Blind Boys of Alabama Live at the Apollo, and Duck, a short film directed by Jakob Daschek for RSA Films and USA Network.

Over the years, John has had the privilege of producing music videos for recording artists such as Madonna, Jay Z, Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Gwen Stefani, Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow, Britney Spears, Kanye West, Adam Levine, and many more. He has been involved with numerous award-winning television and advertising campaigns, including spots for FX's American Horror Story, Sons of Anarchy, and Justified (Promax Awards), and produced Beyoncé's Single Ladies, 2009 MTV Video of the Year, as well as six other shoots for Beyonce, and Katy Perry's TGIF (Last Friday Night), 2011 People's Choice Award-winner. A few of the brands he has produced for include Coca Cola, HP, Volkswagen, DIRECTV, and Adidas.

While based in Los Angeles and New York, his work has taken him all across the USA and around the world to London, Paris, Argentina, Brazil, Antigua, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Vancouver, Toronto, and most recently to Moscow for FX's The Americans and Tokyo for Will.I.Am's #thatPOWER featuring Justin Bieber.

John has specialized skills with international shoots, large casts (85+), complex choreography, elaborate stunts, visual effects, multiple locations, and other complicated shoots. With expanding directing and 2nd-unit directing experience, extensive work in post-production, and a few epic forays into acting in last-minute roles such as "Janitor" in Katy Perry's Thinking of You, "Doctor" in Ludacris and Mary J. Blige's Runaway Love (to name a few), John is willing to do (almost) anything to bring your creative vision to life.
